Overview

Form Builder ("we", "our", or "the app") is a web application that lets you paste questions and instantly generate a Google Form in your Google Drive. This privacy policy explains what data we access, how we use it, and what we don't do with it.

This app was built with a no-backend, no-storage architecture — we do not operate any servers that store your personal data. Everything runs in your browser and communicates directly with Google's APIs.

This policy applies to users worldwide, including those in the United States, the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and all other regions.

Data We Access

When you sign in with Google, we request the following permissions:

• Name and profile picture — displayed in the app header so you know which account is active.
• Email address — used to identify your signed-in session.
• Google Forms (forms.body) — used solely to create Google Forms in your account when you click "Generate Form".
• Google Drive (drive.file) — used solely to save generated forms to your Drive. This scope only grants access to files the app itself creates — not your entire Drive.

How We Use Your Data

• Your name and profile picture are shown in the app UI only — never transmitted to any server we operate.
• Your Google access token is used in-session to call Google's APIs on your behalf and is never stored.
• Questions you paste are processed entirely in your browser and never sent to any server.
• Generated forms go directly to your own Google Drive via Google's APIs.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not store any personal data on any server.
• We do not have a database.
• We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising.
• We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any third party.
• We do not use your data for advertising or analytics.
• We do not retain your Google access token after your session ends.
• We do not collect payment information.

United States Privacy Rights

COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act)
This app is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used this app, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used. Since we collect no personal data on our servers, there is nothing to disclose, sell, or delete beyond what Google already handles. You may contact us at any time to confirm this.

CAN-SPAM
We do not send marketing emails. This act does not apply to our service.

ECPA (Electronic Communications Privacy Act)
We do not intercept, store, or transmit any of your electronic communications. All data flows directly between your browser and Google's servers.

GDPR — European Economic Area & UK Users

If you are located in the EEA or United Kingdom, the following applies under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR:

Legal basis for processing
We process your Google account data (name, email, profile picture) based on your explicit consent, given when you click "Sign in with Google". You may withdraw this consent at any time by signing out and revoking access.

Your rights under GDPR

• Right to access — you can request what data we hold. We hold none on our servers.
• Right to erasure — since we store no data, there is nothing to erase. You can revoke the app's Google access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
• Right to portability — not applicable as we store no data.
• Right to object — you may stop using the app and revoke access at any time.
• Right to withdraw consent — revoke via myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Data transfers
This app is operated from the United States. By using it, you acknowledge that your Google account data (name, email, picture) may be processed in the US via Google's infrastructure. Google provides appropriate safeguards under Standard Contractual Clauses for international data transfers.

International Users

This app is available worldwide. Regardless of where you are located, we apply the same data practices to all users: we collect no personal data on our servers, we share nothing with third parties, and all form data stays in your own Google Drive.

Users in Canada (PIPEDA), Australia (Privacy Act), Brazil (LGPD), and other jurisdictions are covered by these same practices. If your local law requires specific disclosures, please contact us.

Revoking Access

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. For significant changes we recommend reviewing this page periodically.
